Property in Beautiful Nicaragua
Nicaragua has endured many hardships over the years from war to natural disasters . Fortunately, things are looking much better for this beautiful country now. Things actually started to turn around for the better over the last decad10 years or so. As such, tourism started to flourish. With the influx of tourists and tourism inspired jobs and revenues, crime rates began to fall and reportedly, Nicaragua’s crime rate is the lowest in all of Central America. Slowly but surly, the prospects of Nicaragua Real Estate soar. Suffice to say, the foreigners are welcomed to this paradise with open arms. Many are drawn to the Nicaragua Land of San Juan del Sur.
San Juan del Sur is a quiet fishing village nestled at the head of a horseshoe-shaped bay on the Pacific coast of southern Nicaragua. The beautiful bay is dotted with private yachts and commercial fishing boats. The folks of San Juan del Sur make their living fishing, diving, and catering to the increasing number of tourists who were drawn to the bay’s beautiful white-sand beaches, smooth waters, and ecological richness.
I understood from the locals that many foreigners who had fallen in this paradise started to look for Nicaragua Property to buy. Some chose to buy houses, while others scout for the ideal land with the ideal scenery. They wanted to build their vacation homes here, for pleasure or for investment.
When traveling, other than the usual hotspots’ sights and sounds, I enjoyed looking at the beautiful houses with green lawn facing the water. I would love to own one of those houses, even if it is a tiny two-bedrooms, one bathroom type. Just think of all the lazy afternoons I could spent on the lawn, at the beach, in the water. When I shared my view to my fellow-traveler, she warned me of the risks of buying Nicaragua property. She thoughts it’s too dangerous. But isn’t it the same anywhere on earth? A search at the internet cafe resulted in these 7 tips of buying properties in Nicaragua from www.c21sanjuan.com:
- Be prepared to walk away

I surf a lot on the net especially looking for houses. A few years ago I’ve bought a property through a Steveston real estate agency and I live there since. In Nicaragua do people buy mostly holiday homes or properties?
