Travel Tips 33: 7 Important Travel Accessories
These would come in handy
1. Money Belt: They come in different shapes and sizes and not all of them are actually belts! You should keep your important stuff like passport and cash out of sight. You won’t want to keep them in the hotel for fear of robbery yet you have the equal chance to being rob on the road. You can wear your money belt under your clothing, whether it is hanging from the neck or hugging your leg.
2. Packing Cubes: Packing cubes allow you to stay organised and this mean that you need less time for packing and allow more time for partying.
3. TSA Locks: Since 9/11, customs officials in various countries require access to your luggage at all times. So traditional locks can get cut off. However, the TSA locks are approved by the travel authorities because these locks can be opened by customs officials without destroying the locks.
4. Travel Pillow: You don’t want a a sore neck or back to dampen your holiday, so think about your comfort when you fly. You can ask for pillow on the plane but chances are you don’t find them comfy enough.
5. Pressure Reducing Ear Plugs: This is not a travel essential for everyone. However, for people who has an ear infection, perforated ear drum, or even just the common cold, the ear plug can prevent the pain in the ears. The change in air pressure can cause acute pain. These earplugs will control the speed of the pressure change in your ears thus reducing discomfort and pain.
6. Luggage Tags: This is so important that even you don’t have, most airlines will provide some when you are checking in your luggage. But don’t count it, it’s better to be safe than sorry. You don’t want to land on a foreign land without your own belongings. That’s miserable. I know it only too well.
7. Travel Adapter: This is always on my packing list. Can you imagine how annoyed I was when I could not charge my cell phone, iPod and digital camera while on holidays? So, make sure that you get the right plug for the country that you are going to.
Travel accessories are there to make your life in a foreign land safer, more comfortable and better organised .
