Savings Tips – Travel Insurance in Canada
Canada is a beautiful country. It is like visiting a much cleaner, cooler America.
But since we, as travelers, do not live there, we do need to be aware of the benefits of getting a group travel insurance. Some benefits of a group travel insurance would include:
- Lower rates compared to individual insurance
- Pre-arranged for convenience and easy access
- Covers the entire group or organisation
But if you are a foreigner living in Canada, you might want to consider taking up a policy. This is different from a travel insurance as a person living in a foreign country will have different needs. I checked up the web site and found a short list of people who can benefit from this:
- a Canadian citizen residing outside Canada, or
- a Canadian citizen returning to reside in Canada and awaiting coverage under a government health insurance plan, or
- a non-Canadian citizen residing in Canada,
- or a non-Canadian citizen residing outside or their country of origin while employed by a Canadian company.
I guess in the end, you have to decide which is the best for yourself. You can check out the comprehensive offering for travel insurance in Canada.
